After earning more than $429 million at the worldwide box office, Obsession has become one of the biggest sleeper hit movies of the year. Along with A24’s Backrooms and the sci-fi horror film Iron Lung, the horror romance is part of a growing trend of content creators making the leap from YouTube to the big screen.
And now, if you missed it in theaters (or just want to watch it again and again), the film is available to watch at home. Starting on Friday, July 17, Obsession is streamable on Peacock for subscribers only.

‘Obsession’; Synopsis & Cast
Written and directed by Curry Barker, Obsession follows Bear (Michael Johnston), a music shop employee who has a crush on his co-worker and friend Nikki (Inde Navarrette). After coming across a novelty toy called a “One Wish Willow,” Bear makes a wish that he instantly regrets — Nikki’s undying love.
The horror romance also stars Cooper Tomlinson, Megan Lawless, Andy Richter and others, while music was composed by Rock Burwell.
Obsession is available to stream on Peacock starting on Friday, July 17.
