DJ, play a love song! Jamie Foxx will have more love in his life soon, as he and girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp are reportedly expecting their first child together.
TMZ first reported Tuesday (May 12) that the musician-actor — who is already a father to two daughters from previous relationships — and his partner are expecting. Shortly afterward, People confirmed the news.
Billboard has reached out to Foxx’s rep for comment.
The Back in Action star first became a dad about 32 years ago, when he welcomed daughter Corinne with ex Connie Kline. He also shares 17-year-old Anelise with ex Kristin Grannis.
Foxx and Huckstepp have reportedly been dating since 2023, briefly breaking up in early 2025 before reconciling a few months later. Also in 2023, the “Blame It” rapper experienced a life-threatening brain bleed that caused him to have a stroke, requiring him to undergo emergency surgery. He’s been open about how difficult his recovery process has been ever since, at one point telling the full story in his Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was… Netflix special.
“I saw the tunnel. I didn’t see the light,” he recalled at the time. “It was hot in that tunnel. Sh–, am I going to the wrong place in this motherf—er? Because I looked at the end of the tunnel, and I thought I saw the devil, like, ‘C’mon. Or is that [Diddy]?’”
He also emphasized how crucial his daughters’ support was at that time, noting that Anelise helped him hang on through the toughest moments by playing her guitar for him in his hospital room. He also thanked Corinne for making sure the public didn’t have access to him while he was recovering. “I didn’t want you to see me like that,” he added. “I want you to see me like this.”
