This week, Billboard’s New Music Latin poll — curated with key recommendations by Billboard Latin and Billboard Español editors — features new music including Karol G’s “Matadora”; Kapo’s “Reina (Kriminal)”; Benny Blanco, Selena Gomez and Becky G’s “Te Olvido (La La)”; and many more.

Notably, former CNCO member Erick Brian dropped his new single “Efímera” (which translates to ‘ephemeral’) in collaboration with Dale Pututi and Nesty. A steer away from the R&B and Afrobeats he’s been delivering since kicking off his solo career, the Cuban native has dipped his toes in reparto—Cuba’s growing musical movement that fuses urban music with timba, son and rumba, powered by the wooden clave.

In the song, the three Cuban singers chant about a relationship that is not in the same frequency.

“This song is incredibly personal because it allowed me to reconnect with my Cuban roots while exploring a completely new sound,” Erick Brian said in a press statement. “Collaborating with Dale Pututi and Nesty made this experience even more special, and I can’t wait for everyone to hear this new chapter of my musical journey.”

Meanwhile, artists such as Los Tigres del Norte, Francisca Valenzuela and Silvestre Dangond, have also dropped new music this week.

The most recent New Music Latin poll (published on July 28) was topped by Anitta’s new studio album, Equilibrivm II, which earned more than 70% of the vote. Which release this week do you think is best? Give these new releases a spin and vote for your favorite new Latin music release below.

Editor’s Note: The results of the weekly New Music Latin poll will be posted if the poll generates more than 1,000 votes. This poll closes at 11 a.m. ET on Monday (Aug. 3).
