The soundtrack to Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man has been released as the film hits U.K. cinemas on Friday (March 6).

The 36-track collection was helmed by musicians and composers Antony Genn and Martin Slattery, and features a number of guest stars. There are five new original compositions, alongside covers and the film’s menacing score.

Members of Fontaines D.C. feature extensively throughout the soundtrack, alongside a number of their existing material, including singles “A Hero’s Death” (2020) and “Romance” (2024). Frontman Grian Chatten fronts a number of original songs including “Puppet,” as well as a cover of Massive Attack’s “Angel.” His bandmates Carlos O’Connell (guitar) and Tom Coll (drums) feature elsewhere on the soundtrack as performers.

Nick Cave’s “Red Right Hand,” the theme song to the original television edition of Peaky Blinders, also returns with a haunting new version featuring an orchestral twist. Amy Taylor of Amyl and The Sniffers takes lead vocals on the bouncing “Nobody’s Son.”

Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man is the first big-screen version of the popular British television show that ran from 2013 to 2022 on the BBC. The film stars Cillian Murphy in the lead role of Tommy Shelby, with Barry Keoghan, Tom Roth, Stephen Graham and more signing up for roles.

Created and directed by Steven Knight, the show follows the titular criminal enterprise in the city of Birmingham, England, following the conclusion of the first World War. Immortal Man sees the Shelby crime family’s exploits in the second World War.

Immortal Man hits U.K. cinemas Friday for a limited time only, before the film is released on Netflix on March 20.

Speaking to NME, Genn and Slattery explained their approach to the soundtrack, saying that they wanted to make “dirty, gritty music.“ Genn noted, “This isn’t meant to sound derogatory to any of the brilliant film composers out there working, but even this isn’t just big, grand Hollywood music. Far from it. It’s got a lot of guts and the feeling of the human hand, brought to you by a lot of brilliant human hearts, minds and souls.”
